Ji Min Ahn, 2.9 Kgs. She is very very cute! too bad uncle charles was completely wasted. Restaurant staff dinner party the night before, complete with games and skits and prizes and karaoke, and lots of drinking.
i knew i had to be at the hosipital by 7am. the party didn’t start till 11pm. so i planned on taking a few drinks and go home early. what i didn’t realize was that i was the honorary judge for all the skits and prize awarding, meaning i had to be there till the end.
so in the end, we drank and drank all night and i didn’t get home until after 5am, walked the dog, ate some spicy ramen (hoping that would clear my head of this soon to come hangover. I was still too drunk to have a hangover yet.) i changed into some new clothes and made it out to the hopital on time to see henry and mom and dad in the waiting room, waiting fot the baby to come out.
and there she came, in her incubator stroller on her way to the big incubator room where all the newborns stay. the nurses let us see her for a few minute before she was taken to the incubation room. she is so cute, but so small she looks so fragile. makes me really not want to have kids of my own for a very long time. it freaked me out thinking that i would one day have to carry such a small thing home myself. i don’t think i can do it… not for a while.
